VOLUNTEER
The Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps cannot exist without it's members. However, these amazing young people cannot move without drivers, they cannot fit into a uniform without a seamstress, we can't check them in at camps and they cannot survive without cooks. Many think the Troopers are simply the performers on the field. Without you, there can be none of that. You are what makes this organization possible. Be a part of something great and together we will keep these young people moving forward.
***NOTE: All primary volunteers must be 22 years or older and cannot be in any romantic relationship with current members of the Troopers. Individuals under the age of 22 are permitted on a case by case basis, so long as they are directly supervised by a parent that is the primary volunteer. All volunteers will be asked to complete a free background check through the Troopers prior to their volunteer date(s).

Karen is a longtime fan of Drum Corps and the marching arts. Her relationship with the Troopers started when her son marched in 2019 and she volunteered for 3 weeks, washing uniforms and working on the food truck. She continued working with the Troopers post COVID every year since 2021, working in various capacities on the Health and Wellness team, and was inducted into the Troopers Hall of Fame in 2023. She is looking forward to this new role and is hoping to boost the volunteer experience.

MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Dear Volunteers,
We are so thrilled to have you joining us this summer. The heartbeat of a drum corps is it's volunteers. Without you, the corps doesn't function. Meals cannot be served, vehicles cannot move, and uniforms cannot be fitted.
There is so much that happens in the summer that requires the kind dedication of people just like you.
While the purpose of our organization is to create an activity that serves our young adults, you will have fun too! Incredible memories will be made and deep friendships will be formed. You'll see incredible performances all summer long, and travel to locations you have waited your whole life to see.
As you begin your on boarding process, understand that every adult that participates with the organization must adhere to the same process. From the board of directors, all the way down to our drivers, each individual must follow the five steps on this page in order to be involved. I thank you for your time and patience as you work through these required on boarding steps. It is the way of the world, and the Troopers pride itself in operating the most above board drum corps in the world.
We believe in your talents and in your capacity to be true professionals. Be the best version of yourself, and together let us teach the next generation of young people what honor, loyalty and dedication is all about.
With dignity & respect,
Michael Gough
