These activities open Premiere Saturday for TroopCon2024.
Visit Fort Caspar on June 29 to support Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps at the most fun (and SHORTEST) walk/run fundraiser around.
At just .11K, this micro course is 361 feet, approximately the length of a football field. TroopRUN participants who pre-register will receive an exclusive event t-shirt: “The Devil Made Me Do It.”
Walk, skip, saunter. You do you as you go. No matter how you take the course, you can enjoy some special fun along the way!
After completing TroopRUN, be sure to check out Fort Caspar. This local historical site is offering a free morning in honor of the Troopers’ activities (but we highly suggest you make a donation to this great institution that inspired the Troopers’ ethos.)
Be sure to catch the standstill performance by Troopers Legacy Corps at Fort Casper at 10:30 a.m.
Michelle Bahe, curator of collections at the Fort Caspar Museum and author of Casper’s Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps (Images of America) will also be on hand that morning. Bahe is ready to autograph copies of her book and chat with Troopers’ fans. Copies of the book are available for sale at Fort Caspar.
For fans, alumni and family missing the fun of TroopCon in person, TroopRUN offers a virtual option. At-home participants should also pre-register for the Troopers’ .11K virtual event to receive the exclusive Tshirt. Then, participants not in Casper may run or walk just 361 feet at home, any time they want. Or don’t. We don’t mind. We’ll never know if you never leave your couch!
PRE-REGISTRATION is a must if you want the official TroopRun shirts. In-person participants who register by the deadline may pick up their shirt at the event. Virtual, at-home participants who register by the deadline can expect their shirts to be mailed out after TroopCon.
TroopRun pre-registration cut-off is June 6. Don’t miss that date to receive the commemorative shirt.
Saturday afternoon will find TroopCon participants at Troopers’ headquarters for Trooper-verse BINGO. This is a great opportunity to check out Troopers Bingo, an important component of the Troopers organization. Register soon to join us for a fun TroopCon Bingo session. There will be some great prizes you won’t want to miss – from Troopers’ merch to 11 Graves Whiskey and so much more.
Come to Casper early and take part in the all the festivities before the Saturday night premiere of DANCE WITH THE DEVIL. You won’t want to miss the A Corps in action. Plus, Troopers Legacy Corps will perform. You will also be treated to a joint performance of the A Corps and TLC.
