Troopers Respond to Coronavirus | Changes to March Camp
TROOPERS DRUM & BUGLE CORPS TO CANCEL MARCH 13-15 CAMP IN RESPONSE TO CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)
Due to growing concerns regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps are announcing cancellation of our March 13-15 brass and percussion camp that was scheduled to take place in Mesquite, TX. This decision was made with consideration to the diverse geographical locations in which our members, auditionees, and staff originate from. These actions have also been taken in an effort to avoid exposure and further spread of the virus. The entire Troopers administration was in unanimous agreement to these decisions.
“We take the concerns of our drum corps community very seriously, and will at all times take appropriate steps to keep everyone in our organization, and their families safe” said corps director Kristy Jackson.
For members and auditionees that had registered for the March camp, the corps director will be in touch with you over the next forty-eight hours to discuss next steps, refunds, and how to get flights changed.
The Troopers next full corps camp & audition will be held in Cheyenne, WY April 24-26. For those that were planning to audition at the March camp, you are encouraged to submit a video audition as soon as possible. Video audition charges have been reduced for the remainder of this month at www.MarchTroopers.com
