The Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps is returning to its roots this season in more ways than just their musical repertoire. This year’s uniform is vintage Troopers, closely resembling the look of the 1985 era and more closely tied to the uniform of the historic Ohio’s 11th Cavalry based in Casper, Wyoming.
Smoke grey trousers with a black front stripe are topped with a high-waist blue jacket. Eleven buttons embellish the jacket. The look is finished with a black satin cummerbund with a gold cross sabre on the front hip, a black and white drop sash, and white gauntlets with gold piping.
The cost of the uniforms are being underwritten through a challenge match by Dr. Tom Kopitnik and Mountain View Regional Hospital and Clinic. Dr. Kopitnik and Mountain View Regional Clinic and Hospital will be matching every dollar up to $15,000 to help the Troopers cover the cost of the new uniforms. Stay tuned on how you can donate!
